Family Activities

Each semester, children are assigned to a Color Area (classroom) "family" which is supervised by an Experienced Teacher who holds a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Working alongside this teacher is a teaching assistant or classroom aide in addition to a student teacher. In these family groupings, children learn about themselves, develop friendships, and share meals as they participate in developmentally appropriate activities designed to promote physical, social, emotional, linguistic, and intellectual development.
