10/20/09--The Eighteenth Annual Safety/Lighting Tour
The 18th Annual Safety/Lighting Tour has been scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20, 2009. The purpose of the tour is to identify areas of campus that are safety concerns for those who travel the campus after dark. Recommendations have been made each year which, when implemented, added to a positive campus climate and a greater feeling of security/safety. Meet in the Wilkerson Main Lounge at 7:30 p.m. to begin the tour. The tour will conclude at approximately 9:30 p.m. and be followed by pizza in Wilkerson Rm. 55.
In preparation for the tour, students are asked to make note of specific areas of concern. We will attempt to physically visit each area of campus where concerns are reported. We will cover each quadrant of campus with a small group.
Students, faculty and staff are welcome to participate.
