Early Arrival Housing

Wednesday, August 19 and Thursday, August 20, 2009
Early Arrival is NOT available to Squires Hall residents.
Early arrival housing on August 19 and 20 is open to ANY student living in the residence halls or University Place for fall semester. Early arrival is subject to availability (Some halls may still have summer renovations underway and will not be available for early arrival at all. In this case, students may be assigned to a different room other than the room assigned to them for fall or early arrival may not be available at all). Residence Hall students may sign up for one or both nights. The rate is $23.65 per night and includes 2 meals the following day. You may not break-out these charges and only pay for room. Your UND account will be charged.

University Place residents may sign up for Wednesday, August 19, since University Place opens on Thursday, August 20. The cost per night to stay in University Place apartment-style housing for individual nights is: Efficiency - $14.50 per person/per night; 1 bedroom - $17.00 per person/per night; 2 Bedroom - $14.50 per person/per night; 4 Bedroom - $18.00 per person/per night. There are no meals included. This charge is billed to your University account and/or pending verification to the department.

Arrival Before August 19
If you are required to be on campus due to fall campus activities such as athletics, band, or on-campus employment, you are already signed up by your group and you don’t need to sign up. However, if you choose to arrive earlier than your group’s assigned dates you will need to complete the form below and request approval for additional Early Arrival nights. The Housing Office will confirm with you if your additional dates are approved. The rate is $23.65 per night and includes 2 meals the following day. You may not break-out these charges and only pay for room. Your UND account will be charged. Early Arrival is not guaranteed.

If you are NOT associated with a fall activity that requires you to be on campus early, and you are interested in coming before August 19, you will need to complete the online form and request approval for additional Early Arrival nights. Drop and Dash
If you'd like to drop your belongings off at your room, but do not plan on staying in your room until Fall housing begins, you may select the Drop and Dash option on the form. Drop and Dash costs $10.50 per day, and must be approved if you will be dropping off before August 19.
