You may apply for a residence hall room at any time, regardless of the semester you are interested in coming to UND. The sooner you apply, the better your chances of receiving the room you request. You may have received a housing application in the general information packet from Enrollment Services. You may complete and submit that application or you may print the application off this site (to the right). To receive a room assignment, students must complete all 4 steps listed below:

Pay your $35 Housing Application Fee. This is a separate fee from the general UND admission fee. Please send your Housing Application fee with your completed application to the address listed above.
Sign and send the Room and Board Contract.
Sign and send the appropriate contract for the semester/year you are requesting housing. Students interested in Spring 2010 housing should print, sign and send the 2009-10 Room and Board Contract.
Students interested in Fall 2010 housing, should wait and sign the 2010-11 Room and Board Contract, which is available to sign approximately February 2010.
If you are faxing a signed contract to the Housing Office, please remember to sign and fax EACH page.
Pay your $250 first installment.
There are a very limited number of designed single rooms available for incoming first-year students. You must complete and return a separate application called the designed single room application.
