UND Dining Services prides itself on its flexible meal plans. Realizing that students have hectic schedules with work and school, we have tailored our meal plans to fit busy lifestyles. Meal plans are required by students living in the residence halls.
New Block Meal Plans for Returning Students - begin Fall 2009
These plans are block plans which means the meals do not expire at the end of the week. Meals are good until the end of the semester. Block plans are not restricted by meal zones, so students can use their meals at both dinner and extended dinner (late night).
Block Plan #1: 125 meals and $400 dining dollars per semester for a cost of $1614.
Block Plan #2: 155 meals and $150 dining dollars per semester for a cost of $1655.
Meal Plans for Off-Campus Students - students living at home, greek houses, or in a city/UND apartment may purchase any meal plan.

| Unlimited Access Plan - $1,844 per semester |
| This plan offers unrestricted access to dining centers and $130 Dining Dollars per semester. Students may enter any dining center for a snack or beverage, as well as a meal - there are no meal zone restrictions. |

| 19 meals per week - $1,706 per semester |
| The 19 meals per week plan is a 7 day plan that includes $95 Dining Dollars per semester. With this plan, the plan holder may only eat once per meal zone. Students wanting breakfast, lunch, dinner Monday - Friday and 2 two meals on the weekend will find this plan meets their needs. However, students may select any combination of meals during the week. |

| 14 meals per week - $1,671 per semester |
| The 14 meals per week is a 7 day plan that includes $60 Dining Dollars per semester. With this plan, the plan holder may only eat once per meal zone. Typically students on the 14 meal plan enjoy two meals per day, 7 days a week. However, students may choose to eat any combination of meals during the week. |

| 10 meals per week - $1,611 per semester |
| The 10 meals per week is a 7 day plan that includes $40 Dining Dollars. With this plan, the plan holder may only eat once per meal zone. Student who want to eat lunch and dinner, Monday - Friday like this plan. However, students may select any combination of meals during the week. |

| The costs of these different meal options are also figured into the Room and Board Rates. When it's time to eat, just present your campus ID card, called the U Card, at the check stand. It's as simple as that because the board plan is billed to your University account at the time of registration. |

| Dining Dollars |
| Each meal plan comes with Dining Dollars. Meal plan holders receive a certain amount of Dining Dollars to use at any retail dining venue as well as residential dining centers. Dining Dollars can be used at any locations such as Old Main Marketplace Food Court, Stomping Grounds Coffee Shops, convenience stores, snack bars, and dining centers throughout the day, with out time restrictions. Dollars expire if not used by the end of the semester. |

Additional Off Campus Student Meal Plans for 2009-10 |
| 6 Meals per week - $771 per semester |
| This plan provides 6 meals per week. The meals can be eaten at any dining center. |

| 3 meals per week and $100 Dining Dollars - $512 per semester |
| This plan offers 3 meals per week at any dining center. In addition to the 3 meals, students receive $100 "Dining Dollars" that can be used at any of the dining centers, three convenience stores, Stomping Grounds Coffee Shops and Marketplace Food Court in the Memorial Union, Wings Cafe (Aerospace at Airport) Medical School, or the Twamley Snack Bar. Unused balances at the end of the semester are forfeited. |

Meal PLan Changes |
| If you feel that the meal plan you have chosen doesn't fit your needs, you may make changes at any Dining Center. Dates for meal changes are in your contract and in the Residence Hall Handbook. Announcements regarding meal change dates will also be posted. |

Meal Zones |
| Each day is divided into four meal zones: |
- Breakfast: 7:00 am - 10:00 am
- Lunch: 10:30 am - 1:30 pm
- Extended Lunch: 1:30 - 4:00 pm
- Dinner: 4:30 - 11:00 pm
