Meal PlansUND Dining Services prides itself on its flexible meal plans. Realizing that students have hectic schedules with work and school, we have tailored our meal plans to fit busy lifestyles. Meal plans are required by students living in the residence halls. All meal plans are open to students living off campus (apartments, greek houses, or living in Grand Forks). Sign up at any dining center and you may eat immediately! RESIDENCE HALL & OFF CAMPUS STUDENT MEAL PLANS for 2008-09Unlimited Access PlanThis plan is a 7 day plan providing meals per week and $130 Dining Dollars per semester. This plan allows students the greatest flexibility in using their meals. Unrestricted access to the dining center means a student may enter a dining center for a snack or beverage, as well as a meal. $1,756 per semester 19 meals per week The 19 meals per week plan is a 7 day plan that includes $95 Dining Dollars per semester. With this plan, the plan holder may only eat once per meal zone. Students wanting breakfast, lunch, dinner Monday - Friday and 2 two meals on the weekend will find this plan meets their needs. However, students may select any combination of meals during the week. $1,625 per semester 14 meals per week The 14 meals per week is a 7 day plan that includes $60 Dining Dollars per semester. With this plan, the plan holder may only eat once per meal zone. Typically students on the 14 meal plan enjoy two meals per day, 7 days a week. However, students may choose to eat any combination of meals during the week. $1,591 per semester 10 meals per week The last meal plan for residents includes 10 meals per week and $40 Dining Dollars. Also with this plan, the plan holder may only eat once per meal zone. Student who want to eat lunch and dinner, Monday - Friday like this plan. However, students may select any combination of meals during the week. $1,534 per semester The costs of these different meal options are also figured into the Room and Board Rates. When it's time to eat, just present your campus ID card, called the U Card, at the check stand. It's as simple as that because the board plan is billed to your University account at the time of registration. Dining Dollars - Each meal plan comes with Dining Dollars:
ADDITIONAL OFF-CAMPUS STUDENT MEAL PLANSAll meal plans listed above are available for students living off campus. Students who live in UND apartments, greek houses, or apartments in the community are all eligible to sign up for any meal plan including two additional plans to meet the needs of commuting students. Students may sign up at any time during the semester and the cost of the plan will be pro-rated.6 meals per week This plan provides 6 meals per week. The meals can be eaten at any dining center, and students may choose from any of the 21 meals served by Dining Services. $734 per semester 3 meals per week and $100 Dining Dollars This plan offers 3 meals per week at any dining center. In addition to the 3 meals, students receive $100 put on their U Card. These "Dining Dollars" can be used at any of the Dining Centers, three convenience stores, Stomping Grounds Coffee Shop and Marketplace Food Court in the Memorial Union, Wings Cafe (Aerospace at Airport) Medical School, or the Twamley Snack Bar. Unused balances at the end of the semester are forfeited. $488 per semester Meal Plan ChangesIf you feel that the meal plan you have chosen doesn't fit your needs, you may make changes at any Dining Center. Dates for meal changes are in your contract and in the Residence Hall Handbook. Announcements regarding meal change dates will also be posted.Meal ZonesEach day is divided into four meal zones
