Community Center
In Fall 1995, UND opened a new facility for the University Apartment
Community Center and the University Children's Center. The Community
Center provides activites and programs designed with our apartment
community in mind. These ongoing services include an after-school program,
educational seminars, and programs of interest to single students and
families. Special activities are planned throughout the year. Check our
monthly newsletter for more information on activities and events.
The Children's Center provides a learning environment for preschool
children of UND students, faculty, staff, and the Grand Forks
Community.
University Counseling Center
UND Counseling Center staff provide evening hours counseling at the
Community Center for individuals, couples, and families who are residents
of the apartment community. Services at the main Counseling Center include
substance abuse prevention, career counseling, and testing services. In
addition, you can take advantage of the Counseling Center's Personal Development Library. For more information,
call (701) 777-2127.
Family Services Coordinator (Graduate Student intern in Social
Work)
Through a partnership with UND's Social Work department, an individual is
available through the UND Community Center to help find services,
resources, and agencies who can assist with many areas of concern (mental
health, child care, financial, etc.)
